Post Primary Transfer Request Form 2026

This form is for the following applicants :

• Parents wishing to express an interest in transferring their son/daughter to Drogheda Grammar School commencing September 2026 into the following forms only:
  • Form 2
  • Transition Year
  • Form 5
• Please note, it is not normal policy to accept students into exam years Form 3 or Form 6. Applications for these forms will therefore not be processed.
• Students must complete Transition Year or have completed Transition Year in another school to be considered for transfer into Form 5.
• The application window for post primary transfers will be from 1st March - 30th April annually.
• Applications for Form 1 2027 will be dealt with under a separate process commencing October 2026. Applications for Form 1 will not be accepted or processed.

Important Information – Please read before completing this form.

1. By completing this form you are requesting that we contact you if a place becomes available in the relevant year in compliance with Drogheda Grammar School Admissions Policy.
2. The following documentation will be required for upload in order to complete the request form : Two most recent academic reports with teacher comments available on current schools student database.
3. If a place becomes available you will be contacted by email before the end of the current academic year.
4. Parents and applicants may also be required to attend for interview.
5. Please ensure you provide an email address on this form that is checked regularly.
6. If you discover an error you will be required to resubmit your form. The school is not responsible for errors and cannot amend forms.
