Last week DGS students celebrated Science week. The week was jam-packed with exciting activities. To name just a few:

  • rockets designed, built & put to the test
  • immobilised enzymes made and their application tested
  • slime experiments
  • red blood cells, white blood cells & platelets made
  • numerous chemical reactions carried out throughout the week & great fun had by all predicting & observing the results
  • density experiments
  • ‘at-home challenges’ carried out with prizes galore

These and many more activities filled our week and made it a very successful and enjoyable Science week. I think it is safe to say that DGS students and teachers are already looking forward to next year!

Thank you to the Science Department for all the hard work that went into ensuring a very successful and most importantly FUN Science week!
