Last week DGS students celebrated Science week. The week was jam-packed with exciting activities. To name just a few:
- rockets designed, built & put to the test
- immobilised enzymes made and their application tested
- slime experiments
- red blood cells, white blood cells & platelets made
- numerous chemical reactions carried out throughout the week & great fun had by all predicting & observing the results
- density experiments
- ‘at-home challenges’ carried out with prizes galore
These and many more activities filled our week and made it a very successful and enjoyable Science week. I think it is safe to say that DGS students and teachers are already looking forward to next year!
