Science week brought great curiosity and wonder to all students at DGS. Exciting experiments and investigations took place around the school which kept our students intrigued and interested in the world of Science. Congratulations to our Head Girl, Tylá Fourie who has been selected to train with the Leinster U18 North East rugby squad. Multi-talented Tylá also represents DGS in netball and hockey. We are very proud of Tylá earning her place in the team.

Our TY students recently completed their DATs assessment to ensure they have a better understanding of their strengths and skills. It was a productive day for all students and will be of great benefit to them before they begin the Leaving Certificate course.

Anti-Bullying week took place during the last week of term. A lot of work was completed by teachers and students to ensure that students were made aware of the dangers and seriousness of bullying. All money raised through our non-uniform day and Wear Something Pink Day went to Breast Cancer Ireland.
Recently, our TY students enjoyed a brisk walk from Mornington to Laytown. It was a great opportunity for them to converse outside and enjoy the crisp fresh air!
It was very encouraging to see our extra-curricular activities get back up and running at the end of September.
