Drogheda Grammar School offers a wide variety of After School Activities for all students. Activities run from 3:55pm to 5:00pm Monday/Tuesday/Thursday/Friday and 1:45pm – 3:00pm on Wednesdays and some activities take place during the school lunch break. The activities enable students to form strong bonds of friendship with not only their fellow classmates but the whole student body; helping them grow in maturity and enhancing both their physical and mental well-being.
As a school we actively encourage our students and staff to be involved. It is an opportunity for our staff to demonstrate their passion and enthusiasm for an area outside of the classroom, while for our students it is a chance to learn in a different way. Most importantly of all it builds the relationships our school thrives on, allowing each individual real opportunities to contribute to school life.
After school activities run throughout the school year, beginning in September. Attached is the list for this year. Please note activities do change and the list should be sen as a draft. Always check with the school office if you need further information/clarification.
