Junior Certificate Results 2018

Congratulations to all our TY students who received their Junior Certificate results today. As always it is great to see the hard work paying off and seeing each student reach this important milestone in their education. There were some excellent results overall but special mention must go to Bartosz who received 9 A’s!!

Overseas Trip

Fifth Year and Sixth Year history students jetted off to Krakow recently as part of the annual senior history trip.  They visited Auschwitz, the Salt Mines and the Jewish Quarter while there.

Chess Champions

The Drogheda Grammar School chess team retained their All Ireland chess trophy this year, coming out top in the annual chess competition for fee paying schools. Well done to all the team and their coach Mr Geoghegan.

Secondary Schools Hockey Cup

The senior girls’ team retained the secondary cup in Boyne Hockey Club’s annual tournament.  While normally Dundalk Grammar has been our opponents in previous finals this year our 1st year team won through and played the senior team in the final.  Well done to all involved.  The 1st year team has shown plenty of promise this year […]

Well done to the junior rugby team on winning the Coca Cola Cup for the North East League 39-30 against St. Marys.   This lifted the team from their recent Leinster League semi-final defeat (after a replay) to De La Salle Churchtown and was some welcome silverware for their efforts all year.
