Summer Building Works

The school was a hive of activity over the summer and our students returned to find a new science lab, new stage ready for a musical and the sports hall renovated with a new fitness area.

Higher Options

All TY students began their careers and 3rd level programme for the year with a visit to the Higher options conference in the RDS.  With the Junior Cycle behind them we now turn their thoughts to preparation for the Leaving Cert, University and beyond.

Junior Certificate Results 2018

Congratulations to all our TY students who received their Junior Certificate results today. As always it is great to see the hard work paying off and seeing each student reach this important milestone in their education. There were some excellent results overall but special mention must go to Bartosz who received 9 A’s!!

Prize Day

Maths

Congratulations to Connor Daly in 1st year who came 3rd in the recent All Ireland Maths Competition.  Well done Connor and the Maths Department!

We are also very proud of Ms Doherty and Ms Boyle who were selected by the PDST to demonstrate an interactive maths lesson to other colleagues around the country.

Overseas Trip

Fifth Year and Sixth Year history students jetted off to Krakow recently as part of the annual senior history trip.  They visited Auschwitz, the Salt Mines and the Jewish Quarter while there.

Our Transition Year students had a jam packed trip to London spending 4 days seeing all the sights.
