Why DGS?

Drogheda Grammar School has been providing a first class education to local, national and international students for over three hundred and forty years. 

88% of our most recent graduates have gone to national and international universities and colleges of further education.

Since the school moved from its original town centre location (now The Laurence Town Shopping Centre) to Eden View on the Mornington Road it continues to grow.   The school built a spacious gymnasium six years ago and this summer, built an extension to our dining facilities.

Drogheda Grammar School has extensive sporting facilities which include rugby, hockey & soccer pitches, badminton courts & tennis courts.

Presently we are building a new school building and this is due for completion in September 2012.
