The North Leinster schools athletics championship were a successful series of events for Drogheda Grammar School.  Euan Caniffe won gold for both the discus and javelin at his age group.  Meanwhile Sophie Gartland won her heat in the 100 metres.  Both go on to represent the school in the Leinster championships and hopefully All Irelands.

On a less serious but still competitive note the PE department and teaching staff resurrected the school sports day, Dividing the entire school population into four houses (Erasmus, Singleton, Marsh and Grattan) a whole series of events including sprints, jumps, throws and tug of war and various dance offs were held to much enjoyment, laughter and fun on the final day of the Easter Term.
