Three Drogheda Grammar School students were recently awarded “Best Sales Award” at the The Louth County Student Enterprise Awards ceremony, with the judges blown away by the spread of sales throughout the country.  The awards ceremony took place in the Carrickdale Hotel, Dundalk on March 1st.  The Student Enterprise Awards is the biggest enterprise competition for students in Ireland and run nationwide.

Drogheda Grammar School was represented by three students, Charlie Kinsella, Simon Radike and Cian McGrady McGuinness and their company “Flashdiscs”.   Flashdiscs produce audio revision guides for Junior Certificate Students, condensing the course onto a CD of less than one hour.  Students can upload these CDs onto their phones, iPod etc., and revise on the go.
