Musical Talent

Tadhg Lynch and Daire Grant Adams both recently had their musical talent recognised in the School Stars competition, judged by Louis Walsh. Tadhg came second overall while Daire received the award for best vocalist. Both students have performed in assembly recently to great acclaim from their peers.

George O’Carroll and Hugo Collins won the innovation category at the Louth Student Enterprise Awards On Tuesday the 13th March with their mini company idea “Storyboard” ,a resource for businesses who wish to provide services for people with autism. Update re: School closure

The department of Education has issued a statement over lunchtime that schools in Leinster and Munster are to remain closed on Thursday and Friday of this week. Therefore Drogheda Grammar School will be closed for the next 2 days.

It is our intention to re-open as normal next Monday 5th March.

PTA-Communicating With My Teenager

The lecture room was packed for an informative talk for parents by Patrick Boland of conexuseducate.ie in January. Patrick, who has been giving study skills training and workshops for all our students helped parents reflect on the challenges the modern teenager faces and how best to communicate with them.
