PTA-Communicating With My Teenager

The lecture room was packed for an informative talk for parents by Patrick Boland of conexuseducate.ie in January. Patrick, who has been giving study skills training and workshops for all our students helped parents reflect on the challenges the modern teenager faces and how best to communicate with them.

New Extra-Curricular Activities

Cross Country and Athletics

Well done to all our athletes who competed in the recent North Leinster Schools Competition.  Special mention to Caer O’Gibne who came second overall and her brother Ruarcan who came 5th in his race.  Well done to all out athletes who took part.

Rugby News

The Junior Rugby team’s season continues as they won their McMullen Shield match and also look forward to a league semi final this month.

Our girls tag rugby team also proved too strong for the other teams in their recent blitz, winning all four matches.

School Closure – Junior Certificate Training Day

Transition Year Trade Fair

Entrepreneurial and marketing skills were to the fore as the TY mini companies held their trade fair in the Old Gym just before Christmas. Christmas Carol Service
